Wraparound Care at Outwood Primary Academy Bell Lane


Our Wraparound Care provision offers safe, stimulating, and happy before- and after-school childcare for all children attending Outwood Primary Academy Bell Lane, from Reception to Year 6 (term-time only).

Start the school day the right way! At Outwood Primary Academy Bell Lane, we take the stress out of your morning. You can drop off your child knowing they will be welcomed with warmth and understanding. We are dedicated to supporting your child and providing an enjoyable wrap-around experience that feels like a home away from home.

We offer a tasty and nutritious start with a wide selection, including:
  • A variety of cereals
  • Fresh toast with assorted spreads
  • Fresh fruit and refreshing juices

Beyond the great food, joining us early provides a positive start to the school day. It’s a wonderful chance for social time with friends and staff, ensuring everyone arrives in class energized and ready for a day of brilliant learning!

Beyond the Bell Wrap-around care


Join us for a blast of fun and friendship! When the school bell rings, the adventure continues. We pride ourselves on creating an environment where the fun never stops because the children help lead the way. We love to plan fun and imaginative activities based on what the children tell us.

We offer a delicious snacks including:
  • Wraps, crumpets and toast
  • Healthy fuel from fresh fruit and vegetable sticks
  • Biscuits and dried fruits

Operating Times & Admissions

  • Admissions: Welcomes all children in R-Y6.
  • Booking: Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and must be booked and paid for in advance via ParentPay (Clubs module).
  • T&Cs: A copy of the Terms & Conditions must be signed and returned to us before bookings can be made.
  • Notice: The minimum advance notice for booking and payment is 12:00 pm the previous day.
  • Food: Breakfast is served from 7:45 am - 8:15 am, and light snacks are provided from 3:15 pm - 5:15 pm. If your child arrives after 8:15am, breakfast will not be available.

Payment Methods: Payment for the clubs is via ParentPay. You can also use Tax-Free Childcare and Childcare Vouchers. Once you have sent money to us (the provider) please complete this Google Form with your child's name, amounts and which club you want to use it for. Our finance team will then find and allocate to your ParentPay account.

Just so you know, parents are liable for all sessions booked, and payment is expected even for non-attended sessions if block-booked. Arrears of more than two weeks will result in the prevention of further attendance. If you need to cancel your booking, please contact the school office.

We strongly suggest that if you need to use Wraparound care, you book as soon as you can to secure any places needed, the provision is open to the full school on a first-come, first-served basis. You are able to book up to a half-term at a time. The booking will show as green and say 'booked' on each day you have a confirmed place, credit must be added to the account in advance.
